Electromagnetic tooth clutches

Mönninghoff Electromagnetically operated tooth clutches transmit torque with no slip. The transmittable torque and the shifting properties of the clutches are largely dependent on the design of clutch toothing. All tooth profiles offered as standard can also be adapted for synchronisation operations in one or more engaged positions. The tooth clutches are offered with or without slip ring. They can also be used to advantage as overload clutches and are available with transmittable torques up to 16,000 Nm.
